Blood Trouble = Rear Trouble
I went to the doctor today. The night sweats, dizziness, nausea, constant and intense headaches day and night without relief (even with pain killers), pain in the legs, numbness of limbs, and severe and frequent heart palpitations made me go. Three weeks is way too long.
Initially, they did the usual information-gathering. Weight. Height. Blood pressure. Heart Rate. And this weird little finger-thingy-test that rates how well and sufficient oxygen gets to the tip of your finger from your heart. I scored 98 out of 100, which I was told means pretty good, but with room for improvement.
While I was waiting that entire hour before I could see the doctor(she had a patient die and spent a little extra time consoling the daughter), I sat in a room and perused these huge charts. The charts went over all sorts of different things that could be wrong with the blood and what they looked like in slides. Pretty cool. When she came in, we went over this intensive and thorough background and health packet I filled out prior to coming. Did a lot of question and answer stuff, did a quick glycemic test - which rated mediocre - and different blood slides.
The first slide that we looked at was a live, active blood slide of mine. The microscope was hooked up to a big television, so I could everything that she could see, which was pretty damn cool. You know how blood cells are supposed to be seperately floating about, all happy and singular?
Mine weren't. In fact, I didn't have one detached blood cell. It turns out, I have inflamation of the blood... so badly, that it took two attempts at oxygenization in order to loosen the blood cells and see what the hell was wrong with me. (Outside of the inflamation, which is probably what's causing all this shit.)
And lo, a ton of fungus and bacteria were revealed. (Those little buggars were cool looking too. The fungus looked like tiny potatoes with the eyes grown out of them, and the bacteria were in strings.) Got to see a white blood cell killing the fuck out of a bacteria too. That was neat =)
It also revealed that I have something going wrong with my liver. I'm not digesting things correctly. I have these spider veins through my blood. I also got to see metal particles - they were angular and shiny light blue sorta. I could go on and on and on, but I'm a fucking mess. Nice to know I wasn't hallucinating these weird fucking symptoms. Bad to find out some severe shit is happening, though.
Oh, and severe anemia, too. The B-12 deficiency variety, despite my supplements.
In the end, I was told to come back in two weeks, told to go to the emergency room immediately if I got sharp pains in my chest or legs (she said it's only because I have strong red cells that I haven't had a heart attack yet from the inflammation), and received a big ol' shot of Super Antibiotics in my ass that I'm still loopy from. And I've been put on stuff. There's more, but like I said, I'm loopy. Brain doesn't want to work. But that's my update.
